Life is a pot of stew. It is made up of many ingredients that provide its consistency and flavor. There are times when it is hot and times when it is cold. We season it with various spices and additives or we take it unseasoned right out of the garden of life.
We can eat it on the run, hardly tasting it in our hurry, or we can make a banquet of the simplest stew. We can neglect it and let it burn on the bottom, or we can stir it and tend it and make it rich and tasty.
We can find in it nourishment and sustenance or we can use it merely to stay alive.
