Sip Not Gulp

I am trying to learn to sip rather than gulp. That applies to a bottle of beer, or a glass of wine—or water—as well as when tasting food, or life.

When I stop to think, I realize that all too often we are in the habit of dashing along, gulping down experiences—good and bad—in too great a hurry.

It might be good to slow the pace a bit and strive to enjoy the moment.

And to learn from it.

How often do we race right past something that could be a learning experience?

We are living in a great school of life. Are we paying attention in the classroom?
